Colonel & Mrs. Bill Williams
Bill holds membership card #1
dating back to 1987. He and his
lovely wife will be back on the lead wagon on this 20th annual
ride.

This morning, I carried the ole-faithful Royal typewriter into the living room in preparation for writing this 20th Annual Trail Riders Reunion brochure. I notice that the antiquated machine seemed heavier than ever before… it took me a few minutes to get the point… "typewriter weighs the same - Art just can’t carry the weight around like he has for all these years.  But enough about typewriters and age. We have a reunion to prepare for. Can you believe the 20th Annual? I
sure hope you are planning to come. We need your support now more than ever. With high
gasoline prices, and more than enough trail rides to choose from… well like I said, we would love to see you at this Reunion! About the best way for me to tell you about this 20th Annual is with pictures… the same men who led the first 19 Reunions will lead this one… health permitting. As you look at the pictures, note that these folks and a hundred more like them helped this
National to achieve greatness in the organized trail ride industry. We thank you all … now let’s move on and have a great Reunion plus a lineup of good rides this fall…

Colonel Huburt Matchett
We call him the little Colonel. A
heart attack kept Huburt from
leading the gaited horses a few years
back. He was at that Reunion, but
we asked him to rest and he did.
Otherwise he has led all other 18
Reunions. One of the great ones
from Brosley MO. Thanks my friend.

Supper - Live Band Dance Saturday Night

Sunday Night Auction

Opening meeting is Friday Night … ride open
Saturday morning … and Saturday night our
traditional feast at supper followed by a live band
and dance. We sure need you ladies to bring
something for the supper table … salads and desserts
are requested.

The auction Sunday evening is still one of the best
draws at the Reunion. We sell what you bring - horses,
wagons, used or new tack … whatever you gather from
the overcrowded tack room or barn. But make sure
you try and bring something to sell. The auction will
be around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

Steve Cruce

Steve has led the slow horses for every
Reunion and will occupy the same
position for the 20th Annual.

Monday Night …
Bingo Night

Of all the things we do at the Reunion…nothing is more popular than National Bingo… a fun night and there is nothing serious about it. So, put it on your calendar again for Monday Night around 7:00 p.m.

Can I Be Guaranteed an Electric Hookup?
Yes, you can. And the way to be assured is to fill out the application and return it as soon as you receive this. Randall and the Wranglers staff have made more than adequate numbers of hookups for this 20th Annual Reunion, but the way to make sure is to prere
gister early.

We will run out of stalls but will assign those stalls to the first applications that arrive. You will be welcome to picket your horses on
your campsite … just remember to fill your water tank on the old camper before you hookup … most of the campsites at Wranglers do not have water hookups.
